Flash Date Picker (Minature Calendar Alpha) v0.3

07/18/2007 — Here’s a release. This is a .zip file with the .fla and needed class files. There are no namespace declarations. I’m releasing this code with the “limitless” BSD License. This package includes Darron Schall’s DateFormatter class released with a similar license in 8/27/2003.

Notes - this is not a completed custom component, which I will be doing very soon. There are several bits of functionality I would like to complete, but I’ll release it AS-IS right now…

added global mouse handler - closes popup when user clicks outside of popup.
added very simple month pulldown
subtle tweaks to the currently selected day - the selected day is always on the top layer

There’s a bit more code in this and close to me converting to a simple custom component - as soon as I go through all the trouble of making it a custom component with a pretty live-preview…

This is an awesome flash date picker. I’m looking for a component like this for a flash app I’m creating. How can I get the .fla of this?

So - I just tossed the code I have into a ZIP file. This is by no means a nice pretty completed custom component yet. I use Flash8 drawing methods. I didn’t include the fonts in the ZIP file - you’ll have to find a substitute or find the originals online. They’re free fonts that can be pulled from several sites, but I don’t want to deal with licensing issues. There are also several bits of functionality I have yet to complete before I will make it a complete custom component. I’ve been too distracted by getting this Ajax functionality done. Hi,
So, I love your date picker but when I try to insert it into my own page it completely doesnt work. I copy everythin in the zip file to the new location and…nothing. I make sure all the compnents are in the new file just as they are in the library of yours but the dates dont show up nor does the popu. Any help would be appreciated.

What the way to put 2 or more Data picker on the same movie ? … i tryied but i didnt find a correct way ..
